Cover Reveal!
Today is cover reveal day. This is the twelfth novella in my
Trouble Series. I’m having so much fun writing these and I’m hoping you’re
equally enjoy reading them. For this latest Trouble story THE TROUBLE WITH
BRITISH LORDS I’m taking my readers back in time to Regency England. This is a
very popular time period for both readers and writers alike. There is a great
deal of things to explore during this era.
For those of you not totally familiar
with what makes up the Regency Era here is a little detail on the time period.
The Regency in England lasted only nine years from February 1811 up until
January 1820. During this nine year time period George III was very ill and
declared incapable of ruling his kingdom due to mental deficiency. As a result
of this situation the Regency Act was passed making George III son, Prince
George, then became known as Prince Regent, ruling his in place of his father.
The Regency lasted until the death of King George III in 1820. The Prince
Regent then became King George IV.
This is the time of Jane Austen, a time
of elegance and rigid etiquette. The
idea for this story came to me literally in a dream. The “what if” question
always playing in the back of my mind jump started a series of situations and I
knew I couldn’t ignore the pleading of my characters.
Here is the cover for THE TROUBLE WITH
BRITISH LORDS…
BLURB
Jocelyn Ramsey, an American, is new to
London Society and when her aunt and uncle introduce her to the Ton, Jocelyn
makes a splash and it’s far from socially acceptable kind. In the midst of her
social faux pas, Jocelyn meets a knight in shining armor and everything changes
for her but is she ready for that change? She’s finding the trouble with
British Lords is they are never predictable.
Cameron Rutledge is the Duke of
Chattaris and he is instantly charmed by the little American beauty and can’t
understand why she seems ambivalent to his advances. She intrigues him and the
more time he spends with her, the more he wants her. He’s not about to let this
woman walk out of his life. He doesn’t care what trouble he has to go through
to get her.
